Meet Writer & Director, Victoria deMartin

Victoria deMartin is a writer/director from New York with a BFA in Directing from the Film Conservatory at SUNY Purchase College. She has written and directed five short films and recently directed her sixth. Each of her short films has screened at festivals nationwide, most recently screening at Austin Film Festival in 2021.

Kate (late 20’s/early 30’s) is an ambitious aspiring editor who is faced with a choice between taking the next steps in her romantic life versus her career.

Laura received her BFA in Drama from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2013. She studied contemporary theater at the Stella Adler Studio in New York City, and Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She is an associate member of the Rude Grooms theater group, which brings classical texts to underserved communities in Queens, NY. This is her third film with Victoria DeMartin.
